The Attorney General was pleased to contribute to a conference hosted by the CCRC in partnership with the School of Law and the Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice at Queen’s University.
Speaking after the event on 5 May 2026, Dame Brenda King said:
“The Criminal Cases Review Commission is one of the important safeguards in place to help ensure that the criminal justice system operates as intended. I welcome therefore the CCRC’s outreach this afternoon. Its statutory role should be understood by everyone.”
