The Attorney General hosted fellow law officers from Scotland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man on Friday 28 November 2014 to initiate a framework for discussion and exchange between law officers of the Crown Dependencies and the Devolved Regions.
“This was a welcome opportunity to hear from colleagues in a similar position throughout these islands and to discuss issues of mutual interest. I was particularly interested in our shared experience of the balance and challenges arising from our role as both chief legal adviser to government and guardian of the rule of law.”
